Refugio Collection Models

The Refugio Collection is an amazing assemblage of equine art by some of the best-known sculptors and finish work artists in the Model Horse Hobby. These pieces were collected by Cheryl Alley, who was an amazing friend and a creative, loving soul who lost her hard-fought battle with cancer in 2025. She named her ranch “Refugio de la Encinitas” which means “Refuge in the Little Oaks” where she found peace and joy in horses and animals of many sorts, both real and models, and beautiful art of all kinds. She will be missed always, but I know she would be pleased to know her beloved pieces are going to new homes where they will continue to be cherished. There are several hundred items in the collection and they will be listed for sale here over the next year, so please check back often.
